1. As a Field Team Leader for DELTA, conducted Research, for the Pakistan Earthquake Case Study, component of The Humanitarian Agenda 2015 Research Project of the Feinstein International Centre, Tufts University, Boston (March – June 2007). It included extensive field research in earthquake disaster regions of K.P.K. and Azad Kashmir, followed by detailed report.
2. As a Consultant, DELTA, did a detailed assessment in the Social Sectors (Education, Health, Drugs, etc.) with a team of consultants, in three districts, Mohmand, Bajour and Khyber of FATA, for forthcoming projects, formed a CBOs forum, did a needs assessment of these CBOs and their areas (Jan – March 2007).
3. As a Consultant Child Protection, DELTA, did a detailed assessment of care in institutions all over Pakistan. The research was funded by SCF-UK, Pakistan.
4. As a Trainer for DELTA,Facilitated and delivered Training for RedR, Pakistan, (9 – 16 March 2006) tailored to needs of NGOs and Relief Agencies working for the earthquake victims in Batagram, KPK.
5. As a consultant for DELTA, conducted a Livelihood Assessment in post-earthquake Mansehra District (Jan. – Feb. 2006), commissioned by World Vision for their recovery interventions in Livelihood in the area/region.
6. Prepared the concept paper for World Vision Pakistan, for their future Counter Trafficking in Humans Program, based on research done on global Human Trafficking (3 – 10 July 2004).
7. Research for thesis on Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons into communities and how this effects the human rights of youth in Pushtoon Societies (March – Oct. 2004).
8. Consultant, for designing and imparting Training Module for Districts Support Groups of CESSD/CIDA, Pakistan, for communication strategy and good delivery of social services; September – November 2002.
9. Participated in mid-term evaluation of DELTA’s Aus-AID funded “Countering Honour Killing” Project implemented in K.P.K. and FATA,, in the capacity of trainer and Gender & Development expert.
10. Worked as consultant with AFTAB Associates (Marketing Research Specialists), Lahore (Dec. 1993 – July 1994), in KPK Province and FATA, Pakistan. Formative research sponsored by UNICEF and WHO to develop communications strategies and advertising/promotion materials, and help generate/identify creative ideas for logo/slogan development for national health issues.
11. Initiated, participated and conducted many surveys concerning afghan refugees, for UNHCR.
